“The Tooth Fairy Land” Charity Performance

Laspos Orthodontic Center in collaboration with “Chrysallida Foundation” the Cyprus Association of individuals with clefts & craniofacial anomalies, presented the theatrical play “The Tooth Fairy Land” in two performances at the Patticheio Municipality Theatre, on Saturday 12 January 2019.

The play was under the auspices of the Ministry of Health.  All proceeds from the sales of the books were given for the benefit of “Chrysallida Foundation”.

Even nowadays that every form of quality cultural activity is considered a luxury for some children, the non profitable Association “Chrysallida Foundation” and Laspos Orthodontic Center invited all the children to watch the theatrical play completely free.

Through the show we managed to pass to children oral hygiene messages, taught them how important the daily care of their teeth is, how to care for them, how to protect them and how to eat healthy. Messages that we consider our duty to convey to children and parents, so that they become habits for a lifetime.

We would like to thank Eirini Kakogiannis, Nicos Mylonas, Christina Averkiou, Maria Christoforou, Maria Krambi, Demetris Klouvatos, Christina Pissouriou, Loukia Petridou and everyone who helped to make the show such great success. We would like to thank the children who participated. We thank Gregoris Hadjigregoriou Limited who supported the show. We thank each of you who have embraced and supported the show with your presence and the purchase of the books.

A few words for Chrysallida

CHRYSALLIDA is a non-profit organisation that was established  to provide moral, psychological and financial support to families of children with Clefts and individuals with Craniofacial Anomalies. It is the hand that will give support and strength to the child and the family. It is the first important step in the treatment procedure of children with clefts and other craniofacial anomalies.

CHRYSALLIDA  will inform, will explain, will reassure, will give hope, will give strength.

CHRYSALLIDA is the companion who will be next to the parents and the individuals themselves, throughout the whole treatment procedure until the end.

Always with care and compassion until smile returns on the face of everyone.

CHRYSALLIDA is an integral part of the Cyprus Center for Clefts and Facial Deformities MEDICLEFT. Together with the Charity Association “The Smile Foundation”, are the triptych of compassion, which helps children with Clefts and individuals with Craniofacial Anomalies, to be treated and face life with confidence.
